Regardless of your sport, injury is the ultimate limiter of performance.

It limits how much training you can do & how often you can do it.

It saps at your energy & will. It niggles away & embeds self-doubt in your mind – am I going to be fit enough on race day? Will I be able to finish within the cut-off? How long will it take to recover from my injury afterwards? Why does this damn injury keep coming back? 

As an age group triathlete, you have many challenges.

You don’t have the time, money or access to health professionals (like massage therapists & physios) that professional triathletes do.

Squeezing in swim, bike & run sessions between work, spending time with your family, mowing the lawns, doing the household chores & the eternal need for more sleep is exhausting.

You don’t have the time to do all the things you know you should be doing. So things fall through the cracks.

I recently conducted a survey which found that over 85% of participants said that strength & flexibility was important, if not essential, for people who participate in sports. And for core training, it was over 95%!

The survey also revealed that over 70% of people thought it was necessary to spend up to 3 hours each week doing core exercises, strength training & flexibility. I don’t know about you but most age group triathletes I know (myself included) don’t have that much spare time each week (on top of everything else going on in our lives).

It is little wonder that the survey revealed the 2 biggest challenges faced by most age group triathletes were time & motivation.

But here’s the thing - it doesn’t have to be that hard or take so long.

With these survey results & the struggles of age group triathletes like you in mind, I have created an online training program to help time-poor triathletes reduce your risk of injury & put you on the fast track to your next PB!

Introducing Tri Peak Performance

Tri Peak Performance is a 6 week fully online training program to help time-poor triathletes like you incorporate core, flexibility & strength training into your already busy schedule. And it kicks off on February 20.

In a members-only section of this website, each week you will get access to three (3) new videos showing short, fast, effective & triathlon-specific core, flexibility & strength exercises (plus a video explaining what we are doing that week & why).

Each of these programs will take you 15 minutes (or less) to complete. And they don’t require any equipment!

If you only have a short amount of time available, you can have your core, flexibility & strength training finished in as little as 15 minutes. Or do all 3 videos for a solid, effective & triathlon-specific 45 minute training session. So no more bootcamps which leave you too smashed to do anything & no more DVDs gathering dust!

These bite-sized training sessions can also be done as a warm up before a run or as part of a cool-down after a swim or ride so you don’t have to worry about squeezing an extra session in each day.

As a bonus, you will also get access to ~

  • a series of videos showing triathlon-specific exercises which use equipment you may have laying around the home (like a fit ball). So dust it off, pump it up & let’s make use of them!
